Baudette's optimum winter weather conditions allow AET to keep its courses open for nearly 24/7 continuous usage:

• Consistency of low temperatures, frequently the lowest in the continental U.S. 

• Earliest seasonal cold temperatures and retained snowfall (Normally late November).

• Latest seasonal cold temperatures and retained snow fall (Normally late March to early April).

• Moderate snowfall (frequent but not excessive). Average of 70 inches/year.

• AET has the capability of making its own snow.
